The Butoh Lab Camp has a new home. From 15 to 24 July 2027 we gather at Hypha, a camp in Câmpu Cetății (Vármező), in the hills of Transylvania: between the Nyárád river and a beech forest, with outdoor workspaces and accommodation in shared dormitories.
Ten days of workshops, creation and life in common, for dancers and seekers from any field.

a day at the camp
Breakfast, morning circle with Yumiko Yoshioka, first workshop, lunch and rest, and second workshop until dinner. Two three-hour workshops: six hours of practice a day.
Three vegetarian or vegan meals a day; you can also bring your own food. There will be special days, such as a traditional food day, and a few surprises.
getting there
The nearest airport is Târgu Mureș, an hour away by car. You can also travel from Cluj-Napoca, about two and a quarter hours away. Arrival on 14 July, departure on the 25th.
price and registration
€1080 with accommodation in a shared dormitory. The first 15 places, €980. Your place is secured with a 20% deposit.
