Butoh in the mountains of Transylvania

Generating dances in the mountains of Transylvania, Romania, since 2021. BLC — Butoh Lab Camp is a butoh research camp for dancers with any kind of body.

Each edition brings together a different configuration of brutalicious international teachers. Six hours of practice a day —two three-hour workshops— plus evening activities.

All of this in a cabin beside a cold-water river that comes down from the mountains, surrounded by wild nature. The cabin is equipped with dormitory-style beds (with bedding) and toilets with showers. You can also come with tents.

There is a dance hall and a large marquee for the courses held outdoors, beside a cold-water river that comes down from the mountains. It is surrounded by breathtaking nature of great diversity, untouched by man.
